Kim has been accused of "stealing" her looks from famous black women.
Kim Kardashian is releasing another makeup range, which has been inspired by inspirational women from the '90s. However, there's been a lot of backlash against her latest promotional picture, which was shared on Twitter.

Kim revealed revealed that the makeup looks of huge stars of the '90s like Jennifer Aniston, Drew Barrymore and Gwen Stefani, all inspired the new KKW Beauty collection.
The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star also revealed that to show her appreciation she would be sending PR packages filled with her new products to the celebs who influenced her collection. In a video posted on Twitter, Kim showed all the Post-It notes with the names of several famous stars, including Nia Long, Kate Moss and Cindy Crawford.
The range, which launches on Friday 16 August, consists of two 10-pan eyeshadow palettes, six matte lipsticks and lip liners, and five eyeliners.
"I'm so excited to announce my new 90’s inspired collection of all matte formulas," she wrote on Twitter, alongside her picture. "The Matte Smoke & Matte Cocoa Collections!!! I get a lot of my makeup inspiration from the 90’s and love how nostalgic this entire collection is."

In the accompanying photo, Kim haD her hands resting on her head and she's wearing dark, smokey eye makeup and nude lips. It's suspiciously similar to Kim's Halloween look, where she dressed up as singer Aaliyah…hm.
However, fans weren't so impressed by Kim's collection. And although she credited her '90s makeup muses in her brief Twitter video, given all the times she has been accused of "stealing" from black women in the past and cultural appropriation, Kim received backlash for pinching Aaliyah and Toni Braxton's trademark style.

Kimberly. I thought we already went over appropriating black culture. Just cause you married Kanye doesn’t give you the right to imitate Aaliyah like this 🙄
