"Tyler has worked every night to get back to you guys as soon as he could"

By now we're sure you've seen the stunning video that Twenty One Pilots made for 'Jumpsuit', the first official single to be taken from their forthcoming fifth album Trench.

Shot in Iceland, the video follows Tyler Joseph being chased through a canyon by a red-caped villain on horse. The video has several hidden meanings in it, many relating back to Clancy's journal, the mysterious website the band set up earlier this year to start teasing the narrative and concept for this new era.

Now, Jenna Joseph, Tyler's wife, has shared more pictures and information about the making of the video and the work that Tyler and Josh Dun put into making Trench. Writing on Instagram, Jenna wrote:

"Whatever I will say cannot paint a true picture of what I have seen this past year from Tyler. It has been extreme all the whilst he’s shown diligence, modesty, and swag."

She continued: "Tyler has worked every night to get back to you guys as soon as he could. watching him create has fueled me. I’ve felt overwhelmed for him even though I knew he’d finish big. Friends, he just LOVES it! An album, a show, a story all from his pretty brain. I cannot tell you how many meetings we were late to because he’s in his studio completely lost in the music. this video is a small portion of Tyler and Josh showing you whats to come. Can you believe we went to Iceland to shoot Jumpsuit?! Ask me in person about all the deets from visiting Iceland because you know I have them."

Cute!

Jenna shared a few more BTS photos from the shoot, including two with the white horse that chases after Tyler and then more shots of Tyler lying in the (freezing cold) water.

And that's not all.

Jenna also uploaded more images and videos to her Stories, mostly featuring the culinary delights to be found in Iceland. The first picture was of a biscuit from the capital Reykjavik and then a video sampling the edible plants from the local area.

When in Rome, eh?

In other TØP news, Josh Dun revealed in an interview last week that the TRENCH era will pick up where Blurryface ended. In an interview with Annie Mac, the TØP drummer said, "Well the album is called Trench and it furthers the story a little, a continuation of Blurryface.... there's a full narrative. Musically, I'm really excited about it. I think it continues to be diverse and Tyler will call me and send me over a song or an idea and every one will be better than the last one."

Can't wait to see what else this new era brings!
