Beyoncé and JAY-Z Have Inspired An 'Apeshit' Challenge And The Internet Is Losing It

This is the funniest thing that you will see all day...
Beyoncé and JAY-Z stopped the world (again) on Saturday night when they surprise released their incredible new joint album EVERYTHING IS LOVE. Not only is the project already a commercial success (it immediately topped iTunes and Apple Music charts in the US, UK and around the world) but it is also one of their most critically acclaimed releases to date. From the old school production to Beyoncé's next level rapping, the LP is one for the history books.

That's not all though. The legendary couple also dropped a stunning music video for the album's lead single 'APESHIT' that is set in the actual Louvre. The hit visual has been widely praised not just for its aesthetic but for the way in which it centres black bodies in a historically white space. The scene of Jasmine Harper picking out Nicholas $lick Stewart's afro in front of the Mona Lisa is particularly moving, as are those of Beyoncé and her girl squad dancing in front of The Consecration of the Emperor Napoleon and the Coronation of Empress Joséphine. It is a triumph.
One specific moment has caught the attention of the internet though; so much so that it's now been turned into a challenge. Towards the end of the visual there's a shot of Beyoncé and JAY-Z in front of the Winged Victory of Samothrace. JAY is stoic but Beyoncé is in beast mode serving scatty choreography in a white Stephane Rolland couture gown with the precision of an icon.
Fans immediately compared the visually arresting moment to folding a fitted sheet.

Amazing. In fact, people found the comparison so hilarious that it has now inspired its own hilarious #APESHITCHALLENGE on social media. To take part in the #APESHITCHALLENGE all you have to do is essentially drape yourself in sheets of your choice and lose it to 'APESHIT'.
Some people are staying true to the original meme with a fitted sheet.
Brilliant. Talented. Showstopping. Amazing. Spectacular.
Others are taking it outside.

This is basically its own music video.
A couple of fans are getting high to pluck up the courage to take part in the challenge.
We do not endorse drugs.
A few are even dancing so hard that they fall over.
Do not try this at home.
It's worth taking note that it's probably best to remove glasses or anything valuable if you do take part in the challenge.
#APESHITCHALLENGE 😭😭😭😭 my glasses fell off inside the damn blanket but here y’all go 😂😂😂 pic.twitter.com/9G5ND67Cpc

We hope that she didn't break hers.
Your sheet doesn't need to be white as long as you are giving it your all.

The power that that has. The intelligence that that has. The clearance that that has. The impact that that has. The access that that has.
In conclusion, 'APESHIT' is amazing and so is this challenge. Do you have what it takes to get involved?
