Prep your summer 2018 playlists and make room for some iconic warm weather bops. Here are the best summer 2018 songs so far.

Summer 2018 is fastly approaching and it's time to get those playlists in order. Your favourite artists are releasing new music at breakneck speeds and we've taken it upon ourselves to ensure you have the best summer playlist in your friend group.

From Hayley Kiyoko and MNEK to Drake and Panic! At The Disco, this year's warm weather offering is strong.

"What I Need"- Hayley Kiyoko (feat. Kehlani)

A highlight from Hayley Kiyoko's debut album Expectations, this Hayley X Kehlani collab has all the makings of a perfect summer bop. There are even hand claps, guys. HAND CLAPS.

"Nice For What" - Drake

It's a warm summer night and you and your girlfriends are at a rooftop bar. After exactly 3 mojitos, Drake's "Nice For What" comes on. Of course, you and all your girls form a circle and start dancing and hyping each other up. In the back of your mind, you vaguely recall all the men you've ever been nice to. Never again.

"(Fuck A) Silver Lining" - Panic! At The Disco

I want to hear this at every party this summer. It's a feel good, sing along bop. The "picture it, Beyonce. Lemonade," line is truly great.

"Youngblood" - 5SOS

This chorus. This freaking chorus. If there was a way to have this chorus liquified and injected into my body intravenously, I wouldn't even hesitate.

"Make Me Feel" - Janelle Monáe

I'm trying to pass legislation that says it's illegal not to put this on your summer 2018 playlists. We will not rest until this law is on the books.

"Strangers" - Sigrid

Sigrid really knows how to grab a person in the chorus. The chorus on "Strangers" is lush and radiant, aka the ingredients for the perfect summer jam.

"My My My" - Troye Sivan

We've always been massive fans of Troye Sivan over here at PopBuzz, but Troye's "My My My" is probably one of the best songs he's ever put out. "My My My" is warm, radiant, and absolutely addictive.

"I Like It" - Cardi B

Belcalis Almanzar with the Pete Rodriguez sample. We stan!

"Scary Love" - The Neighbourhood

"Scary Love" from The Neighbourhood's self-titled release is perfect for driving home on those long summer nights. For anyone looking for songs that make them feel like they've just stepped out of a scene from Drive.

"All The Stars" - Kendrick Lamar, SZA

Would a song by Kendrick and SZA be anything less than iconic? Put this on and pretend you and your friends are in the end credits of Black Panther.

"Sanctify" - Years & Years

Years & Years are so freaking good at this. "Sanctify" has serious boy band sensibilities and you could just add this song to a summer playlist 20 times and call it a day.

"God's Plan" - Drake

Drake really had to do it to em' for summer 18. Did you ever suspect that he would have no less than three jams ready for your poolside escapades?

"Tongue" - MNEK

"Tongue" puts MNEK squarely on track to nab best single of the year accolades. We'll deal with summer bops first, but "Tongue" is so clearly an earworm of epic proportions.

"Me So Bad" - Tinashe

Tinashe's Joyride has been a long time coming. Despite being a unique force in r&b, she still does populist songs like "Me So Bad" really well. Tinashe is such an artist. Put her on ya damn playlists.

"Worry No More" - Lil Yachty, Santigold, Diplo

What a collab! "Worry No More" is so fun and sunny. It's always nice to hear from Santigold and Lil Yachty is a treat, as always.

"High Horse - Kacey Musgraves

This is like a Shania Twain meets Fleetwood Mac moment. Kacey is coming for your summer sesh playlist, watch out.

"Love Lies" - Khalid and Normani

I cannot believe Khalid and Normani invented harmonies!
