Metallica and Bleachers are among the other artists who will share their stories for the 'I'm Listening' campaign.

Halsey, Logic, Metallica and Bleachers are among the artists set to take part in a new suicide prevention campaign entitled 'I'm Listening' which will be broadcast as part of World Suicide Prevention Day on September 10th.

The two hour radio special will be hosted by Seattle-based radio DJ, BJ Shea of KISW FM. Messages and personal stories from the musicians as well as discussions around how to seek help will form the bulk of the programming.

Former Nirvana bassist Krist Nosovelic is one of the major voices behind the event:

"Depression, coupled with other factors, can be lethal. Mental health conditions are underrated and I'm pleased to be part of the I'm Listening campaign to help educate the community."

Other high profile participants include Khalid, Passion Pit's Michael Angelakos and Alice in Chains' William DuVall.

Logic has been a particular prominent voice on this issue, his song '1-800-273-8255' taking its name from the phone number pf the National Suicide Prevention Hotline.

PSAs, on air promos and other conversations promoting the campaign began running on Entercom radio stations from yesterday (September 5th). The event itself will air across all Entercom stations at 10am ET on September 10th.
