At 14 years old, Millie Bobby Brown is more mature than we'll ever be when it comes to calling out trolls on social media.

Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has long been a vocal and passionate activist against bullying, both in real life and online. In 2017, she set up a new Twitter account that aimed to spread positivity and end cyber-bullying. Earlier this week, Millie became the youngest ever UNICEF goodwill ambassador.

Speaking to Reuters at the United Nations, she urged world leaders to listen to the youth and pledged to speak out for the millions of children whose voices are silenced and make sure they know their rights and empower them. In a bid to create more awareness about UNICEF's #GoBlue campaign, she's even changed her name to 'Millie Bobby Blue' on Instagram. She's serious, y'all! She's making a change! She's doing it!

Following her speech, Millie shared a video to her Instagram page, explaining how important it is to her to be able to be part of an organisation like this and how passionate she is about the project. She shared the video with the caption: "I cannot begin to explain how honored and privileged I am. Wow. Thank you @unicef The ride has just begun."

Despite a ton of positive, supportive and congratulatory comments, there was one troll who left a comment under the video, playing right into the exact negative online behaviour that Millie is trying to combat. The comment read: "Anyone else starting to loose interest in Millie??" [sic]

Millie, being the ever mature legend, decided to reply back to the completely unnecessary comment with the most eloquent and grown up response of all time.

"Watch the video, I explain that cyber-bullying needs to end. It's okay to lose interest in me, but today we are taking a stand against online trolls."

To quote Millie herself, "if you don’t have anything nice to say, just don’t say it.” BYE.
