People are sharing videos from peaceful protests in honour of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter

For the past few days, people have been taking to the streets to march and protest in the name of George Floyd and Black Lives Matter.
Last week (May 25), George Floyd, a black man, was murdered by a white Minneapolis police officer. His death followed the killing of Breonna Taylor, a black woman, who was shot by a Louisville police officer in her own home (March 13).

While you may be seeing a lot of videos on your timeline that show looting, vandalism or even excessive force used by police on unarmed protesters across the US, there have been hundreds of peaceful protests that have not been reported as widely.
From people taking a 9 minute moment of silence in honour of George Floyd, to moving and uplifting speeches, dances and peaceful marching, here are just some videos that have been shared on social media from the heart of the protests.

In a video shared by Colorado Times Recorder, protesters in Colorado chanted "I can't breathe" for 9 minutes.
