Back in a 2017 interview, Tom Holland joked that his Spider-Man co-star Zendaya was his first celebrity crush.

Rumours of a romance have followed Tom Holland and Zendaya ever since they first appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming together way back in 2017. Recently, fans of the pair have been in the middle of a TomDaya-shaped meltdown thanks to the paparazzi photos that went viral earlier this year of the two of them kissing in the front seat of Tom’s car.

Since then, Tom and Zendaya have been spotted at a wedding together, and have even shared a few adorable Instagram posts and captions that left everyone screaming in the comment section. As the speculation mounts, more and more evidence that the two are dating is being pieced together by fans.

Earlier this month, Timothée Chalamet teased Zendaya about Tom Holland being her celebrity crush in a BuzzFeed interview. And as luck would have it, Tom Holland kinda revealed his first ever celebrity crush to us over four years ago, too. Guess who he said?

Yep. Back in 2017, PopBuzz sat down with both Tom and Zendaya to discuss Spider-Man: Homecoming. The two co-stars stepped into the PopBuzz Confession Booth to answer a few pressing questions about their first ever email addresses, what Robert Downey Jr. smells like and most importantly... who their first celebrity crush was.

While Zendaya dug deep to give a very thought out answer with her pick, there was absolutely no hesitation on Tom’s part. Tom confessed that his first ever crush was Zendaya.

Ok, ok, he said he was joking almost immediately after saying it and then revealed that his first ever celebrity crush was actually Jennifer Aniston. But still, his immediate Zendaya answer had fans shook nonetheless. Flash forward four years, and the clip still has people in a death grip.

Tom and Zendaya have not officially confirmed that they’re in a relationship just yet. But after all the photos, all the Instagram comments and both of these interview confessions, fans are now just waiting for them to go public.
