Pepper Potts has clearly been studying at the school of Holland and Ruffalo - SPOILER CENTRAL!

And so it begins. Now that Infinity War is done and dusted and our therapy sessions are underway, it's time to start looking forward to Avengers 4. And by the looks of things, we might have just got our first spoiler courtesy of Gwyneth Paltrow.

If you've seen Infinity War, you'll remember that Tony Stark and Pepper only have one tiny scene together at the beginning of the movie where he reveals that he had a nightmare about her being pregnant but she's pretty damn adamant that there's no child on the way. Now, if you - like us - have been reading way too much into every line of dialogue in the film, then you'll have added that lil' throw away to your list of potential plot points in Avengers 4. (And you also would have had a tiny stroke at the thought of Tony dying for real without getting to meet his kid...)

Anyway, it now souuuunds like Paltrow may have just low-key confirmed that Miss Pepper Potts is indeed pregnant with Tony's baby. Guys, we're getting a baby Iron Man. AN IRON BABY.

In an interview in the official Infinity War magazine, Paltrow was talking about Tony and Pepper's relationship when she the dropped the unconfirmed bombshell. Twitter user ashley__renae clocked the quote and posted it online:

The quote reads: “Pepper and Tony have had a really long journey together. She obviously starts as his dutiful assistant, and then the relationship evolves, and now this decade later they’re married, and they have a child. Their relationship has evolved in all of the ways that great romances evolve.”

It's unclear if that tiny sub-plot was taken out of the movie in favour of including it in Avengers 4 or if the storyline was completely scrapped altogether but judging by Paltrow's interview in the official magazine, it sounds pretty legit. And to be honest, making Tony Stark a father in Avengers 4 after losing his almost-adoptive son Peter Parker would be pretty poetic - and really emotional for the audience.

BRING US THE IRON BABY, IMMEDIATELY! BEFORE THANOS STARTS KICKING OFF AGAIN.
