Chilling Adventures of Sabrina renewed for seasons 3 and 4 at Netflix

Another two seasons of Chilling Adventures of Sabrina - consisting of 16 episodes - are heading your wicked way.

Good news, my esteemed members of the Coven. Netflix has already renewed Chilling Adventures of Sabrina for another TWO seasons, which means even more Kiernan Shipka as Sabrina, even more Chance Perdomo as Ambrose and even more Michelle Gomez as the iconic Madam Satan.

Yep, the streaming service ordered another 16 episodes of your new favourite TV show before season 2 even aired. They will of course be released in two parts. Just like seasons one and two, they will be billed as 'Part 3' and 'Part 4' and will likely consist of 8 episodes each.

Production is set to begin on the new seasons in 2019. In an interview with Chance Perdomo, he confirmed that season 3 was scheduled to start filming in May 2019. Parts 1 and 2 were filmed back to back, so it's expected that the same will happen for parts 3 and 4.

Speaking about the renewal, series creator Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa said: “Praise Satan! I’m so grateful to my partners at Warner Brothers, Netflix, Berlanti Television and Archie Productions for supporting this darker vision of the world’s most famous teen witch and I’m thrilled to be continuing to tell Sabrina’s chilling adventures with our incredible cast and crew, led by the unstoppable Kiernan Shipka.”

Obviously, not much is known about part 4 just yet but there's several details, plot points and cliffhangers that will be sure to be explored in part 3 (Sabrina laid all out those plans in the part 2 finale.)

Part 3 will see Sabrina go to Hell and rescue her boyfriend, Nick Scratch, who was inhabited by the Dark Lord and carried through the gates of Hell with Madam Satan/Lilith. Ambrose and Prudence's storyline will likely carry over from part 2 and focus on locating Father Blackwood and the twins and exacting their revenge on his actions at the end of the season, when he attempted to wipe out the Church of Night. And after the revelation involving Sabrina's true parentage, we'll likely also learn more about Sabrina's mother and father in season 3.

If all of that is going down in part 3, part 4 is gonna be wild.

There's no release date for part 3 yet but expect it to drop toward the end of the year with part 4 following in 2020.
