Kiernan Shipka teases Sabrina and Harvey's future on 'Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'

Chilling Adventures of Sabrina really is the gift that keeps on giving. After blessing us with 10 incredible episodes in October, Netflix surprised us all by announcing a holiday special shortly afterwards. A Midwinter's Tale arrived in all it glory this Friday and we've not been able to think about anything else since. From Sabrina's seance with the Weird Sisters to the genuinely terrifying storyline involving Susie, it all slapped.
However, it was the Harvey (Ross Lynch) and Sabrina (Kiernan Shipka) drama that caught everyone's attention. At the end of season 1, it wasn't clear if Harvey and Sabrina were over forever or not. After Sabrina signed The Book of the Beast, Harvey wanted to start afresh with her but she wasn't sure. In A Midwinter's Tale though, she seemingly breaks up with Harvey for good and now Keirnan is teasing their future.
Why did Sabrina and Harvey break-up?
In season 1 Harvey and Sabrina's relationship crumbles after Sabrina accidentally provokes another witch to curse Harvey's brother to death. She then tries to bring him back to life and chaos ensues. In A Midwinter's Tale, Sabrina first tries to patch things up. She gives Harvey enchanted pencils as a gift and secretly cures his father's alcoholism with a potion but Harvey is put off by her magic.
What's more, Sabrina summons her mother's ghost from the dead and asks her for advice as to whether or not she should stay with Harvey even though he's mortal. Sabrina's mum advises her not to lead anyone else down the path of night and Sabrina seemingly comes to the conclusion that it's best not to date Harvey again. Harvey then heartbreakingly returns Sabrina's pencils.
Kiernan has now opened up to Entertainment Weekly about what the future holds for Harvey and Sabrina and if we will ever see the two of them back together again anytime soon. Echoing the words of Sabrina fans all around the world, she teased: "I’m a Harbrina shipper as much as anyone else, ya know? But it’s heartbreaking, it totally is. I loved them." Heartbreaking indeed!
Will Sabrina and Harvey get back together?
She then added: "I think that they’re wonderful and even if they do eventually end up getting back together, nothing will be like Harvey and Sabrina season one. Like, RIP that. Because truly that was such a special, innocent, young love thing and that is a thing of the past. That will never happen again. They’ve both seen too much and done too much at this point!" HELP!
However all hope is not lost. Kiernan added: "In the next part of season one, we see them coming into their own and finding themselves in new ways. In ways that separate them more and bring them back together more — it’s a bit of a back and forth." So while they've split, it sounds like we've definitely got much more Harbrina content incoming.
Ross Lynch also spoke to EW saying: "There’s always going to be a little bit of a spark between them throughout the show. That’s what I’m expecting, but you never know. There will be some romance that kicks up in a few episodes later between Habrina but there’s also some romance that kicks up between some other characters on the show". Wait a minute.
So we're getting Harbina but does this mean that they both have other love interests too? It seems pretty obvious that Nick will try it on with Sabrina but is someone else going to catch Harvey's eye and if so, WHO? We need answers and we need them now.
